Fourth of July Party at LT
World
Thursday July 4, 2002 - 6pm-11:30 pm

Greetings!
You and a friend are invited to a Fourth of July Party at my home. I live on 52 acres of land located 17 miles due east of the center of Atlanta and less than 5 miles from Stone Mountain. I call my place “LT World”, kind of like “Disney World” only a little smaller. LT World even has its own private airfield with a 2,600 foot runway. The party will be at the pool at my house, not the aircraft hangar.
“Rock” Concert at the pool waterfall at 9:30 and Fireworks Show at 10:00 pm.
See you then!
Lacy Thompson, Jr.
There will be chips and Soft Drinks, however you may want to bring your own refreshments and coolers if you want something more substantial.Questions: (770)482-4724
Directions to LT World
I-20 to Turner Hill (Central, West and South Atlanta)Go I-20 East to the Turner Hill Road Exit (fourth exit outside 285). Go north on Turner Hill which is part of Highway 124. Follow 124 north for about 4.4 miles and you will see an elementary school on the right at the intersection with Stephenson Road. Continue an additional 1/2 mile past the elementary school and take the first right onto Hightower Trail (Hightower is opposite Asbury on Hwy 124.). If you reach another traffic light after Stephenson, and see the “124 Package Store” you missed Hightower. Turn around and try again.
I-285 to Memorial Drive (North Atlanta)
Go 285 to the Memorial Drive Exit and go towards Stone Mountain (away from Decatur) for about a mile. At the top of a hill at the intersection of Rockbridge road turn right and go 9.1 miles until Rockbridge dead ends into Highway 124. Turn right on 124 and go 1/2 mile to the first left; Hightower Trail. (Hightower is opposite Asbury on Hwy 124.) If you reach another traffic light at Stephenson Road, you missed Hightower. Turn around and try again.
Once You Are On Hightower Trail:
Hightower Trail is only one lane wide at the end so watch for two way traffic! Go to the end of Hightower and you will see my gate and mailbox on the left marked 7980 LT Parkway. My house is at the very end of my 5/8 mile long driveway. Park on the left side of the road between the driveway and the runway. Do NOT park on the right side of the drive.
